Lindsey DeMay is a Los Angeles-based Costume Designer and member of the Costume Designers Guild (Local 892) and Motion Picture Costumers (Local 705). Her work spans genres and eras, with a focus on building distinct, memorable characters through thoughtful, story-driven design.

While much of her television experience and first true love has been in contributing to comedies such as The Goldbergs, Muppets Mayhem, Live in Front of a Studio Audience, and Nobody Wants This, Lindsey is equally drawn to stories that explore darker emotional terrain. As an advocate for mental health awareness, she is particularly interested in films that examine mental health, grief, and the complexities of the human experience. She believes these narratives demand a deeper level of collaboration and character exploration, where costume becomes an essential tool in expressing what a character cannot say.

Lindsey believes collaboration is key to bringing a director’s vision and an actor’s character to life, and considers it one of the most rewarding parts of the process. She hopes to continue expanding her design work across film, television, and commercials, collaborating with directors, actors, producers, and crew who share a passion for emotionally driven, character-focused storytelling.
